A Year In Review

Growth is a wild ride. There are so many unknowns, but once you take the plunge there’s no looking back. I have almost 40 active clients, a handful of them have been with me since the beginning – just over one year. There is no greater testimony to the flexibility, accountability, and convenience of remotely training. While technology has contributed to the ease of access to workouts, the added personal touch of coach and client communication has kept these dedicated clients on track.

Mutch Fitness remote training was created to offer high-quality coaching that incorporates encouragement, transparency, and consistency. Is it really that hard to make it to the gym for that scheduled class? The answer is yes. With the ‘no gym required’ approach, my training follows you anywhere, through anything, keeping your fitness routine intact.

The handful of clients that I have had with me over a year now all have full-time, demanding jobs. On top of that, juggling family, school, club sports, vacations, on-call hours, that few times a year stomach bug, the unexpected knee pain/injury, and many more of life’s obstacles typically would throw you (and myself!) off of our fitness routine. Then we sit back and say, “Damn. I was going strong for four months, but what happened?” If I get sick for two weeks and have to recover before jumping back into a class, it can feel defeating. My training approach removes defeat from life’s challenges that may postpone, but not prevent you from working out. I bet my clients who have been with me now for months and months are somewhat in disbelief they have stuck with it – but once you reap the benefits of adding movement into your life it becomes addictive. Healthy is a pretty cool thing to actually feel.

My most common phrase over a year of training? “Keep me updated, let’s get back to it and stay consistent.” I get it, I experience it, and my fitness routine is far from perfect. I’ve changed from needing that leaderboard score to being happy and healthy in a whole new way that isn’t detrimental to my body. From going 150% every day and pushing myself beyond limits, I’ve ended up with a back injury that is forever lingering during day to day activities, and I’m only 32. Be confident that training with Mutch Fitness, we are a collaborative team, strategically growing your strength, conditioning, and reaching your goals through commitment and consistency.

I’m a nerdy fan of watching The Profit, I know, I know – and dreams of being a big entrepreneur would be great, but for now we all have to do what Marcus Lemonis preaches, and that is to “Trust The Process.”
